The Tattered Lace Magazine Issue 24

This issue has a large spoonful of nature scattered throughout the pages along with some fabulous templates to make clever, shaped cards for the chaps who love to do a bit of DIY! Having said that, it would be so easy to change the hobby or theme by using different colours and materials.

I mentioned nature, let me introduce you to the Fox and the Badger. Not only are they really quite cute, they also make gorgeous cards with an aura of the countryside. Talking of which, we also feature the Dragonfly Trios set. I love the texture that the embossing folders give the dragonfly die cuts and I love the colour palette of the projects!

We also have lots of flowers to delight you! The Clematis Trellis die is a very attractive lacy panel that has huge amounts of “snipability” and there is so much you can do with it: on its own, matted onto co-ordinating cardstock, behind an aperture and even “decoupaged”. The Carnation Corner is just as versatile, it makes lovely centrepieces, borders, embellishments and, of course, corners! The Flower Shop does what it says on the tin! This amazing collection of 40 dies is so versatile, and we have three very pretty projects to give you some inspiration. The Feather die is so beautiful and can be used for so many occasions. Finally, try folding a Cherry Blossom flower, it is very easy to do and smaller ones look great on a card. Make some larger ones and make a topiary ball.

Information, inspiration and education has always been our mantra. So with that in mind, pop along to meet the Baby Blue die cutting machine and find out all about this fantastic little machine. We show you top tips and hints to get the most out of the Baby Blue. And to finish, the Free Gift is the Mini Stepper Card die set. It is perfect as a dinky card, a tag, a place setting and so much more. I love that the matting and layering is included. Six inspirational projects using the die set are included, so are 16 free papers, it’s time to get crafting!
